11 Most Important Nominations in Virginia

You are here: Home / Nominations / 11 Most Important Nominations in Virginia

April 11, 2019 by admin Leave a Comment

Virginia FREE’s ranking of the most important nomination contests is based upon those races which will show the direction of the two major political parties ahead of the 2020 presidential cycle.

Virginia is, frankly, the real First In The Nation Primary with our entire legislature up three months ahead of the Iowa Caucuses. As such, our elections are being watched closely around the country.

This is the ranking prior to the first campaign finance reports which will be out next week. These rankings are not based on competitiveness! That will be a separate ranking once more financial and polling data comes available.

11 Most Important Nominations In Virginia

“In this age, in this country, public sentiment is everything. With it, nothing can fail; against it, nothing can succeed. Whoever molds public sentiment goes deeper than he who enacts statutes, or pronounces judicial decisions.” A

Abraham Lincoln

That quote sums up, largely, why Virginia FREE started its own radio show. There is a need for deeper dialogue and conversation that informs not only the business community directly but also a broader audience. I’m often asked, how’s it going?

Well, here are two testimonials from organizations who availed themselves of the format.

Julie Rautio of Capital Results:

“The creation of Virginia FREE radio has provided a highly effective new way to engage the public in debate about issues that affect the economy, their businesses and their lives. Chris Saxman attracts interesting, knowledgeable guests. His own legislative and business expertise contributes to enlightening programming and a growing audience.“

When asked if it helped her clients?

“Oh it has!“

Brian Cannon of OneVirginia2021:

“Virginia FREE Radio provides great access to an influential audience that wants to go deep on issues in his long format style. But the additional social media effort – and quick turnaround for it – takes this influential format and distills it down to an even easier-to-consume product.”

When asked if it helped their efforts?

“Very much so!!! Thanks man!“

Here are recent Candidate Interviews conducted on Virginia FREE Radio:

Senate Minority Leader Dick Saslaw

Delegate Chris Peace

Tina Freitas – challenger SD 24

John Avoli – open seat HD 20

Each interview contains newsworthy moments and very interesting insights into the races as well as both political parties.

Tune in Mondays 10am to 1pm at this link

Enjoy!
