John B. Adams, Jr.

Mr. John B. Adams Jr. has been a Director of Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. since 2003 and a Director of Fauquier Bank (the “Bank”) since 2002. Mr. Adams was elected Vice Chairman of Fauquier Bank in January 2004 and Chairman of Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. in January 2010. Mr. Adams was President and Chief Executive Officer of A. Smith Bowman Distillery from 1989 to October 2003. Mr. Adams serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Bowman Companies, Inc. He was Director of Universal Corporation from May 2003 to August 2, 2018. Mr. Adams served as Chairman of The National Theatre in Washington, D.C. for 25 years and has served on the Foundation Boards of several higher education institutions.
